Jessica Warren always had a love for color. As a young girl she was taught by her mother, an artist of oil painting, that art did not just exist in a crayon box, but in the world surrounding.
To most, this sentiment would have been taken lightly, or seen as a glorious praise to nature. But to Jessica, her world surrounding, consisted of pretty little shoes in a variety of colors that matched her little dresses perfectly. And when put together, made her feel pretty. Her mom would spray her with a delicately sweet perfume, give her a little lip gloss (appropriately clear) and send her on her way, promising that her day would always be good now that she felt pretty.
Little Jessica at the time didn’t know that her mom was teaching her an invaluable lesson. To feel pretty, is to be pretty. Soon a natural gravitation took place and Jessica found herself soaking up beauty magazines and “treating” herself to makeup. She loved playing with her version of an artist’s palette……. Her makeup bag.
It only took a matter of time for Jessica to realize that her mother was correct. Art is indeed in our world surrounding, including ourselves. And how we choose to present ourselves is how the world will perceive us.
She has chosen the profession of makeup artistry to not only enhance natural beauty, but to bring forth the inner beauty that radiates within. Because like her mom had proven, to feel pretty is to be pretty.
As a 2007 graduate of MKC Beauty Academy of Hollywood, California. Jessica has taken the sentiment of being pretty by feeling pretty to heart and allows her passion for makeup to be the guiding source in every person she works with.
